Program Events
What to Expect:
Join us at the Exodus Freedom Conference
as we impact lives through biblical training and education,
and LIVE OUT LOUD,
by proclaiming freedom from homosexuality through Jesus
Christ.
For this life-changing week, more than
1000 men and women will come together for worship, celebration,
and encouragement. The conference provides help to those
who personally struggle with homosexuality, and those who
have a loved one who identifies as gay. We also provide
training to those ministering in the area of homosexuality,
and education for all who wish to learn more about this
important topic.
Overview of the Programming:
It is the desire of the Exodus conference staff
to provide a broad range of program events and choices for
conference delegates. Every day is packed with both small
and large planned meetings, teachings, and discussion groups.
Even if this is your first conference, you will find plenty
of events to get involved in.
Personal
Testimonies
[SIGs] [Oasis:Men,
Women, Parents] [xScape:Youth]
[Steadfast:marriage] [Friday]
General Sessions:
Throughout the week, all delegates join together in morning
and evening general sessions to worship, hear testimonies,
and be equipped and encourage from gifted pastors, speakers,
and authors.
Workshops:
Delegates will be able to choose from up to 12 workshops
daily to learn from experienced teachers about topics that
relate specifically to their current needs. Classes will
be designated to meet the needs of the men and women who
struggle with or are affected by homosexuality, including
spouses, parents, siblings, youth, pastors and ministry
leaders.
Special Interest Groups (SIGS):
Each afternoon a meeting place will be provided to host
discussion groups for their particular special interests.
Typically such groups have included: specific church denominations,
parents, spouses, pastors, those with AIDS, and groups for
men and women who deal with same-sex attractions. For more
information on how to host a Special Interest Group, you
can *download an application form here (PDF)*
or call the Exodus office at 407-599-6872. The deadline
for applications to be considered is 6/16/06
Panel Discussion Groups:
Back by popular demand are the Panel Discussion groups.
Panel Groups will meet at various times throughout the week.
This is a designated time to ask questions to Exodus leaders
about specific topics. This year we will have exciting panel
discussions geared toward Pastors, Student Pastors, Parents,
Youth, Married Men, Spouses, and many more.

Every year we have
a special connection time for Parents and
Women. This year, we will be adding an
Oasis group for Men. These groups meet
every night after the Evening General Session in various
locations on campus. The only exception is the Parent’s
Oasis Group that will meet from 4:00pm to 5:30pm. This is
a time to relax, reflect, be ministered to, and connect
with other delegates for some fun and fellowship.

Xscape:Youth & Students
every night at the conference! You'll receive a
special schedule for these events when you come to check
in at the conference.
Exodus Youth Day!
For Students under the age of 25, there will be planned
activities and workshops all day on youth day. You will
get a chance to learn and talk about issues particular to
your generation. Friday will feature our own speakers (including
Shannon Ethridge,
author of Every Woman’s Battle and Scott
Davis, Director of Exodus Youth), worship, and plenty
of time to share your stories. Activities on youth day include
the ropes challenge course and paint ball course. If you
are a registered student, your spot is already reserved
for these activities. Youth Day will end with an evening
of worship with Jason Upton.
Also, throughout the week there will be times for small
groups to meet to share and process the conference experience.
More details on this will be provided when student delegates
check-in at the conference on June 27th.
