I have experienced transformation, sound
teachings and nurturing guidance from the Exodus leaders at
these conferences. Workshops gave fresh perspective and better
equipped me to walk out my personal journey. Through the prayer
times with the Prayer Team, the Lord was able to take back
ground that the enemy had stolen in my life. It was so meaningful
to have people there to approach the throne of God and intercede
for me. I have received many blessings including friendships
with women who I’ve met through the Oasis
Room who have become precious sisters in Christ
and who still challenge me to love the Lord and hold me accountable.
I believe the Lord gave me these opportunities to attend Exodus
so that He could better equip me to go back to my church,
work place, and home to declare the freedom that God had given
me and that He desires to give to all who seek Him

the prodigal son returning home, and his father throws a huge
party. Now imagine that there isn’t just one son returning
but a thousand who come home on the same night. That is what
the closing communion service was like for me the first time
I attended an Exodus Freedom Conference. I had just experienced
the most awesome week of my life hearing from respected teachers
and swapping stories with so many people who had similar backgrounds.
I found freedom by being able to open up my heart to new friends
who made me feel welcomed and accepted; freedom in opening
my heart to the Lord in a new way, and this communion service
was the beginning of a new relationship with my heavenly Father.
The other reason I celebrated was that I knew that I was one
of hundreds who would return home with our newfound freedom
and affect our churches and communities. Each year as I return
to the conference, I am able to take someone else with me.
There is plenty of room at this party! - Tony,
Conference Volunteer
I
wasn’t sure what to expect [at my first conference]...so
I was a little apprehensive about the experience. It was such
a relief to find that my concerns vanished and instead they
were replaced with a genuine love and burden for those who
struggle with same-sex attractions and for those who minister
to them. Each year, the conference continues to challenge
me and inspire me not only in my own journey but in seeing
the lives and hearing the stories of so many others who minister
and struggle. - Jeff,
husband
I began attending as a spouse of someone who has been delivered
from the bondage of homosexuality and now I’m involved
in bringing the message of freedom to others. I initially
wondered if I would feel out of place, due to my lack of experience
with the struggle of same sex attraction. Instead, I found
a group of individuals that were more aware than most of their
desperate need for a Savior; those that had tasted from the
bitter waters of life and had discovered or were discovering
the well of Living Water. They had much in common with me.
I would sincerely ask lay people to seriously consider attending
the next conference. They will be blessed and ministered to
and will also come away feeling equipped to reach out to this
precious group of people. - Angela,
Jeff's wife
For
years I was on a quest to find Christian resources to pass
on to family, friends and acquaintances that have shared with
me their stories of struggling with same-sex attractions.
I searched for teaching and training for people like myself,
to become better equipped to answer their questions and walk
with them through their journey out of homosexuality. [Eventually,
I came to attend my first conference, which] offers Christ-centered
training, resources, teaching, information and relationship
to those who struggle with homosexuality as well as those
who, like myself, want to learn more in order to help our
families, friends and acquaintances. Prayerfully consider
attending this year! - Julie,
friend
Imagine
being in a place where people were open and honest about the
issues and struggles they were facing, a place where masks
and facades were replaced with raw emotion and realness. Where
you could be vulnerable; talk about things that were in the
dark places of your heart and not find condemnation, but instead
find love and acceptance. Imagine people who - despite what
the world says - seek freedom from a bondage that many people
face, but very few talk about. The truth is, I didn’t
have to imagine this. This was a reality for me as I attended
the Exodus Freedom Conference. In every session, it was emphasized
that the issue of homosexuality and dealing with it and overcoming
it starts by becoming more intimate with God... the Truth
will set you free. - Tim,
20-something youth
Attending the Exodus Conference, instantly removed was the
veil of shame and guessing about my struggle and gave me a
community that fully understood. All the while, walking in
the light while growing deeper in my walk with purity. Walking
in the light about my struggle has not always been top priority
in the past. After attending the Exodus Conference, it gave
me restored hope, truth, faith and a community that understood
my struggle and challenged me to grow in purity and in my
identity in the Lord.

The
Freedom Conference was one of the most awesome experiences
of my life. It is incredible to be in praise and worship with
close to 1,000 people who are sharing the same heartache in
one way or another. To watch those who have come out of the
lifestyle so freely worshipping the One who set them free
was unlike any worship experience I have ever been a part
of.
- Angela, parent
Going to Exodus, attending the workshops and hearing the
testimonies have helped us as parents to understand the issues
and how we should deal with them. We wanted to know how to
love our son without compromising God’s Word. Meeting
those who have come out of the lifestyle gave hope to us that
our son could walk away from homosexuality. What draws us
back to Exodus every year is the love we see in those who
have fought to walk away from this destructive lifestyle.
We leave the conference each year enriched and more alive.
We thank God for making it possible for us to have attended
the past 7 conferences and we are excited about going to the
Exodus conference in Indiana this year.

The Exodus Freedom Conference is the best-kept secret in
the world of today’s gospel conferences. Looking for
hope, after the murder of our only child in his struggles
of finding help to leave homosexuality, God sent us to an
Exodus Conference and its nearest ministry for help. They
have been so much more than we ever dreamed of and already
have plans made for Indiana this summer! They truly offer
hope, education and support for the struggler and loved ones.
